Hi, New to forum and Yanmar Tractors.I just bought a ym2000 and I have a ym1400 tiller My problem is my hydr lift stopped working and from reading the forums something was said about cleaning the hydr filter,can anyone tell me where this is located on the ym 2000? I would really be grateful for any info and is the ym1400 tiller too big for this tractor.Thanks for the forum and a chance to talk with people with knowledge and experience.

The filter is on the front of the transmission, down at the bottom. There are 3 small bolts in a triangle, remove the bolts & the cover, then pull the screen out of the transmission. Drain the oil out first. The RS1400 tiller is made for the YM2000.

Thks 1Danny. I went out this morning and it's working fine but still need to clean filter I'm sure, I just bought it and I'm trying to find all the things that need service don't know how good the up keep was from former owner.I need to get a manual for it. Thanks again I'm learning alot from reading these forums

If it is like my 1510, there are 2 bolts on the bottom of the rear differential to drain the oil. The screen cleans up well with carb cleaner.
