Hello all. Not sure if I should post this here or in the Yanmar forum but here goes. I have a Yanmar 2010D that is hard to start when cold. In checking out the thermostart system, I noticed there was no fuel in the line connecting to it nor in the little reservoir bottle in the fuel return line that feeds it. I undid the return line from the front injector and there is no fuel coming out with the engine running regardless of rpm. I don't believe this is normal. My question is, how much fuel typically flows through the return line, and where would be a logical place to start checking when there is none? Thanks in advance for any help y'all can offer.
