Yanmar 22 hp 3TNA72UJ3

What equivalent Yanmar tractor model uses this engine? This is in a John Deere 455 heavy duty lawn and garden tractor. Thanks.

My YM1510D has a 3T72SA which I believe means that it has the same displacement, but I am not sure of the other letters. I do not see that any Yanmars have that "exact" engine model.

Looking in my manual for the F series, I don't see anything with same engine # but I suspect this engine is somewhat special for JD. And like with Mike's comments, the 72 is the bore in mm and was found on the F15 models, 3T72H-N. Likely engine HP is in the 17-18HP range. Don't see any engines with 3TNAxx designation but did see one model with 3TNB80-U that was used on the F18's.

For Yanmar, the first 2 digets of the model # is pto HP.

Maybe it's a Marine engine someone converted?

Thanks everyone. This is not a marine engine converted. It is an oem engine found in thousands of JD 455 lawn and garden tractors. I was just wondering for my own information if Yanmar built a tractor around this engine. This is a very reliable, fuel stingy, robust little engine which will go a long time when looked after. Thanks.
