Some good friends bought a ym2500 2WD. about a yr.ago Refurbished with a New Bush Hog and from Spalding Tractor and Equipment in Ga.for around 6500.00$ on the off season. That price will be hard to Beat esp. when Steve found out who it was for. Been trouble free so far with just a few operator errors. YM2510 with 4x4 ?? :confused:Never heard of one not saying there isn't one.

Nice looking tractor. What are the additions on the lift arms? One on left side under arm and one on right side on top of arm? I like the syrup bucket over the lift control.:)

Its a hyl cylinder for down pressure for tilling and boxblading. Yea the syrup bucket is odd but hey it keeps the rain out:laughing:, it covers the controls for the 3pt lift cylinder. Im gona get it cleaned up and put it on the market.

I see the leveling cylinder but that is not what I was asking about. I was wondering what the pieces of metal are on the lower lift arms?

Oh sorry. He welded them on there for suport not that he needed it. He only had a 4' mower and boxblade and tiller.

2510 is a grey # we all assumed that.

Stiffeners added to resist bending. I could use stiffeners like that welded under my YM240's arms. I bent one trying to drag the tractor sideways with the backhoe.

But on the other hand - it was simple to pound the lift arm back straight on an anvil. (Repairing all kinds of user stupidity is simple on these early models! :)) If it had been reinforced then I might have ripped the lift-arm pivot out of the transmission instead.

you won't get down pressure from that cylinder. It just raises or lowers the right side in relation to the left.
