YANMAR 3110???????

good afternoon,
while driving around today,i saw this machine and had to stop and look /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
yanmar 3110, 967 hrs on meter,shuttle shifter , /forums/images/graemlins/confused.giftried 2 ranges and reverse, worked smoothly: start right up, no smoke, oil was black as night, hydralics work ok for me, look like it had a 3 or 4 speed PTO, just tried 1 range, sounded ok, tires very good, sheet metal looked good, no visible leaks, w/boom pole.....$6000, 5' clipper 500-$550, 5' box---$330..

my question.....what year or years? hp? etc.
he had no VIN number, and said he bought from a wholesaler named fredrick's in georgia or ala. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif said the wholesaler" goes thru" all the machine he sales /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gifthe blade and mower are new...

I beleive it is about 30-31 HP at the PTO and about 35 engine HP. SOrry don't know much more about it. Looks like a lot of tractor for that asking price but others could give you more details.

The YM3110 is a very good tractor, most parts are easy to get. Try to get one with power steering. I sell them about as fast as I get them

From the research I did no my YM3110 it was made between 79 and 81.

35hp. with 31hp at the PTO.

Mine works good.

I also have a 3110D (4wd) with front end loader will carry a 4x5 roll of hay with no problem. I am having oil pressure problems only registering about 15 with the gauge i installed after the idiot light starting glowing. I am not very mechanically inclined but can any tell what the problem might be and how expensive a fix it is (I know hard to say without knowing problem but guesses will help)

Take out the oil sending unit & see if the oil passage may be stopped up.You may have to drop the oil pan & check the oil pick up tube screen (if it has 1 ) & see if it may be stopped up.
