Hello all, I am new to forum but from what I see there is a lot of useful info. I'm looking for parts for my Yanmar YRM-48 finish mower. any direction would be helpful. Thanks in advance cause I know someone will have the answer:D

Any possibility you can post a few pictures of it? Generally Yanmar's implements were made by another manufacturer for Yanmar. Perhaps seeing it would enable someone to recognize the manufacturer and hopefully you can get parts directly.

Looks like an old Woods to me. I'd guess their equivalent would have a model number of RFM48 (assuming its 48 inches wide) or something very similar.

Hi,
I know this is an old thread, but I have the same mower (yrm 48). I can't seem to find a manual for it. I purchased it used and it was in rough shape and I thought I'd fix it up. I have had it running, but it could use some new blades and belts. I'm looking for parts and a manual if anyone has that.

Also, one issue I found with it....when I have it running, I feel like the wheels leave it too high to cut low enough to use as a finish mower. But, when I lower it (so the blades are almost angled down) only one side of the mower actually engages, like the belt is loose, but it runs fine when the pto is more level. anyone have any ideas?

thanks

Sounds like an angle of PTO to drivetrain issue. Post pics of how you're running it when it is having problems. It can only go so low with the gauge wheels set to minimum height, right? It looks like there is no real adjustment to the gauge wheels from what I can see of the OP's pics, but I could be way of on any/all of this.

Hi. Mine looks the same as the pics above. There are no aduljustments on the guide wheels. I was thinking of removing them and just having the 3pt hitch hold up the mower.
The angle might be to much like you said tho. I'll hook it up and take pics later. Although I don't have a huge tractor....a kioti ck20s
