I got a FX24D but am not sure of a few levers... There's something that looks like a choke lever above/to the right of the clutch that's stuck & won't pull out. There's also a square foot "lever" behind the gas/brake, I'm guessing this one is a diff locker? Then there's a lever just above that that I don't know what it's for either. And finally, a round knob directly below the front of the seat.

So there's the 4 I am not sure about but I do know the PTO, 3 point hitch raising/lowering lever, & 4wd levers...

The stuck cable is for decompression.

The square foot lever is the differential lock.

The lever right above the differential lock is the 4 wheel drive.

The round knob is 3 point lift slow return/stop valve.

Thanks Winston1. I assume the decompression is just like the decomp button on a pro series chainsaw? Can I put a little 3in1 oil or WD-40 in the cable to possibly free up? What is the round 3 pint lift slow return/stop valve, does that speed up / slow down the raising & lowering of the 3 pt hitch?

Yes, you might be able to free it up. There are 3 little cams that go into the rocker arm cover right over the exhaust valves. When you pull the cable it turns the little cams holding the exhaust valves just barely open.

On your model the slow return/stop valve is used in two ways. When closed all the way it locks the 3 point in whatever position it is in. You do not want to actuate the lever to raise if the valve is completely shut. It also controls the down speed of the 3 point. Does not control the up speed unless closed completely. Different weights of implements will require slight adjustment of the valve.

That goes to show how much I've used this thing in the last 5 months. So it's got 1 2 & 3 on the upper left, then 1 2 3 & 4 on the lower left, & R N 1 2 & 3 on the upper right. How many speeds total?

Upper left is pto speeds. Little lever on the same level as the 4 speed range shift and to the left of it is grandma gear. Not positive all the FX24D's had grandma. Does yours have that lever? Tractor data says you have 16 forward and 8 reverse. I don't know how they came up with that. I count 15 forward and 5 reverse but probably doing something wrong.
