Yanmar manuals on Ebay

I haven't seen this CD with Yanmar manuals offered on Ebay for a while. I bought this CD years ago. I like it and recommend it.

California, I got my cd and am very happy with it. There is a section on 3tn---- engines. I was wondering if you know the difference in these engines and the tractor engines 3t----. I think maybe the 3tn are industrial, maybe like generators? Just wondering what the physical differences might be? Any ideas?

3t/3tn - No idea.

I bought that CD and the I&T shop manual immediately when I bought my YM240 in 2003. Yanmars were less well understood back then, for example no one could answer my question if my green YM240 was older than the red YM2000's. (Turns out its a couple of years newer than the last YM2000).

I learned a lot reading that CD because it has the original documentation for so many models. More recently I bought original US Yanmar manuals on Ebay for my Yanmars but that CD had everything I really needed. And digital (CD) is more convenient than paper. I still recommend this CD for anyone who bought a relevant model.

The 3T and 3TN series are 2 different generations and not similiar. The manuals on Ebay are well worth the purchase!!!

For all the YM12X-14X and GT14 guys out there, there is a factory shop manual on E-bay right now covering this family of tractors. At $25, it's a steal. :thumbsup:

Kind of off topic but bare with me here....

Many of us have gray market tractors - so why is it we cannot find the actual service manuals? I do have the YM276 service and the 2020D Japanese parts schematics via Hoye. The 276 is the closest Domestic tractor to my YM 2020D apparently.

We know that these tractors would have had service manuals written in Japanese for their customers. Why can't we find them? Has anyone looked? I know it would be a HUGE chore to have them translated, but google and other internet sites all have japanese translator software. For example, if I needed to remove my dash and fuel tank - different from the procedures for the YM276D, I could scan the original japanese manual pages and have google translate it to the best of its ability and probably get pretty close????

Am if out of my mind here?
