I just read about it on Yanmar's U.S. Website. Sounds great to me, my lawn mowers have always been Toros.
Yanmar America Announces Partnership with The Toro Company to Provide Tier 4 Compliant Diesel Engines for Commercial Applications
Adairsville, Georgia. (October 16, 2012) Yanmar America Corp., a division of Yanmar Company Ltd., is pleased to announce a partnership with The Toro Company to provide diesel engines for select commercial turf maintenance equipment. The Yanmar diesel engines will allow Toro to comply with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Tier 4 emissions regulations which go into effect January 1, 2013.
The first Toro products to feature Yanmar’s Tier 4 compliant diesel engine technology will be select commercial mowers over 25 horsepower.
