That machine has the 3T84 engine. It's one of the very popular Yanmar engines back in the day. Getting engine parts isn't a problem with the gray market parts/service, it's just the cost as everyone has stated.
That YM2620D is very comparable to the YM2820, YM3000, YM3110, & the YM3220 with the same engine family of 3T84. The YM3810 has the same with turbo.
Looking at the body panels and bolts/screws, it doesn't look repainted. The person already took the lower engine pan off with the oil shown, thus you can look to see what else is needed.
On the 3T80, the CAM is locked in with two keys that align the engine timing rather easily. Thus, swapping bearings or doing any lower engine work is rather simple. If the 3T84 series is this way, then the cost is drastically lowered too.
BTW, if you redo the bearings for on rod assembly, do them all. period. You will hate to go back in there to do the job two more times in the future.
PS, since you are in the northern area of FL, there are plenty of Yanmars in the SE states. Fredricks and others have brought plenty to the USA in this region. Finding a good one should not be that hard. Besides, Yanamar NA is in GA. Also in GA, Fredricks has a franchised dealer with a parts service center too.
Personally, I would keep looking for a good Yanmar.
