I'm curious what changed with the little Yanmar? I have a 455 that starts awesome. My x750 starts very well. Not quite as well as the 455 but respectable. The 994 runs a much longer glow cycle and just is not the same confident starting engine. I've seen people complain about it shaking a lot when cold etc and I have to agree it's just not the same. I'm assuming emissions related. Wondering if they get better with break in hours or if anyone has dove into the calibration to see if it's a retarded timing issue that can be addressed? Looks like its a 3TNV80F engine.
