Yanmar Sc2450
I purchased the 2450 last year and have used it extensively for putting underground conduit, control wiring, etc. for my business. When I purchased the tractor, it came from the distributor with chains installed on the rear tires. On one job in particular, I had to remove them. I didn't need the chains last winter but want to get a jump on this winter. I have no idea how they got them on so tight, I'm assuming they deflated the tires then installed the chains. I also noticed when I removed them last year that the chains sit inside the rear tire treads, seemed strange to me considering traction but then again I'm new at this. I would be very grateful if anyone could supply some advise or suggestions to help me get these chains back on.

If you have room it's not going idea to have them very tight, tight chains will start to wear on the tire.

Thanks Agvg, I'll be sure to keep them a little free. Increasing tire wear makes a lot of sense.

I don't know how large your tractor is but I drive the chains on.
