Yanmar tiller

I have a yanmar tiller model RS1301 that I am trying to use a quick hitch with, on a John Deere 2210. The problem is the pins are not far enough apart and not out to the front of the tiller far enough. Any ideas on a modification with maybe some 1/2" flat iron and some angle iron?

That's exactly what I did. It took a little thinking but used existing holes/hardware and fab was quick and easy. Note, I really don't know if this thing is hooked up right but it seems to work fine. I made one test run with it but haven't had a need for it since.

This is what I did to a Hinomoto. This was made with 1/2" x 4" flat bar excepth triangle gussets which was 1/2" plate and the mast (top link) brackets were like 1/2" x 2 flat bar and had heat with real big heating tip (rosebud) to bend them. I've had to trim all the original brackets off and start fresh. I've really torn up small light weight brackets and I've learn to go extra heavy and Oh yeah, I pull with a 35 hp Jinma tractor. If your gonna really use the tiller go big and heavy. bjr

This was a previous build on a Iseki tiller and is almost the same thing as previous post. This modification has several yrs on it and has stood up real well. bjr

Here is what I did to get my tiller's mounting points to match up with std cat 1 dims. Has worked well so far.
