I appreciate all your feed back on various tractors. A dealer near me has a yanmar 13D and a yanmar 1610.I can not find any info on the 13 D as far as age and parts aviability. Both tractors are close in price and condition, what is a better choice for just maintaining a large garden only.[no mowing or need for a front bucket]

thanks again guys

Either will do the job, but the 1610 is a better bet parts wise.

I'm going to side with buppy69. When you can't find any information on a model its an indicator that there weren't many made and therefore there is poor parts support. There are many tractors out there that are considered orphans. The 1610 is common and does have good parts support. If you should ever decide to sell it you will get better resale value. The 1610 is a powershift model. I would not hesitate to pick the 1610.
