Yanmar v1045 runs and dies

It will start and die, may run a while. I replaced the fuel pump, also by passed the water separator. Had it running for 5 minutes, shut it off, it starts runs 2 minutes and dies. When running its smooth. ????

It may have a safety switch that’s gone wonky..
Or a shut off solenoid that’s getting hot and shutting off..??(if equipped)
