I have a Yanmar YM-146 same as the GT-14 and very similar to the YM-122

The bearings are shot on the rear clutch yoke and a recently purchase a for parts YM-146 for a steal at $50 and it has a good yoke. Hear are some pics of the part and the part from the breakdown page.

The part number is 194802-22210 there is no picture in parts of service manual of how to remove the shaft that enters the rear gearbox area. I have tried to use Tie Rod Separator tool to remove the yoke but it won't budge. Has anyone else tried to remove this and how did you achieve it. I have already removed the roll pins.

Did you removed both roll pins or just one? Part #40 and #41 on the parts breakdown.

After the roll pins have been removed, it should just come out, unless it's stuck with rust or something. Be careful prying it off because the gearbox is an aluminium housing.

From looking at your picture of your yoke, it appears that the inner pin has been removed but the larger pin may still be present.
Give it a firm not hard wack with a hammer and punch. Not hard because there is a seal as well as aluminum housing that can easily be damaged.
Best of luck.

Might be possible to remove the outer half of the joint to allow access to use a puller on the stuck half.

Good ideas I will try the puller after looking closer it has a concave guide on the shaft so I assume this is so people can use a puller, I am removing it from the parts tractor first then I will remove it from my tractor. Both pins have been removed so I believe the shaft is just stuck hard. I have sprayed with penetrating oil several times as well to hopefully loosen things up.

I find that it breaks loose best by inserting a steel rod or pry bar through the U-joint and turning it back and forth on the shaft.
Put the tranny in gear to keep it from turning.

If the parts diagram is accurate, you just proposed fighting a losing battle as the diagram shows a splined shaft!

I got it off. Gary J had the trick. The transmission is not on the tractor but it does have the rear PTO. I had a splined shaft that I put in the Rear PTO and used a steel rod to spin the yoke then gave it a tap or two and it came off. Thank you for all the advice. Now time to take off the bad yoke on my tractor and replace it with the good one.

let me know if you want to get rid of the rear pto from the parts transmission. my tractor needs to run a tiller. well as soon as i go thru the yolk removal you just went thru. i need to replace the bearing on that shaft also. also if you can write down the bearing and seal side numbers you replace, that would be awesome. i like affordable parts, not allways oem.
