Yanmar YM1900 brake adjustment

I have a YM 1900 that has brakes that don't want to release. This problem seems to get worse when left idle for any length of time. How do I adjust the brakes on this tractor. I recently ordered a manual but am hoping to use the tractor in the next few days. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

On some Yanmars, the shaft that enters the brake enclosure gets stuck after many years. This prevents the pedal from coming back up.

There should be an adjustment nut (with locknut) in each brake rod. If the adjustment nuts are frozen, soak them overnight with penetrating oil before attempting adjustment.

Brakes that won't release is not an adjustment, it's a repair.
