Has anyone had to shim the front 4x4 axle pivot point on a YM2610D?? My front axle moves forward and backward on its pivot about 1/8 of an inch. Is there Yanmar shims made for that to make up for the wear or what have other guys done?
Thanks for the help in advance!

I was looking at mine one day and it's a little loose too. Not quite as loose as yours so I'm not gonna worry about it right now. But I was thinking ahead and thought about valve spring shims. They come in different I/D's and O/D's and are available in all kinds of thicknesses, and are hardened. You can usually go to a machine shop that rebuilds motors and ask to buy a handfull of old ones. They are usually laying all over the shop.

Just a thought

I ended up having a local machine shop fab it for me. Turned out really well.
