Tractor
Kubota L4330 with LA853 Loader, Yanmar YM276D with YFL1000 Loader, Yanmar YM276D, Yanmar YM147D, Case 1845C
After looking at the YM336 in mediocre condition and considering things, I am pondering holding out for a YM3810. Time isn't a factor since the two tractors right now seem to be working. The extra horsepower of the YM3810 would work well on the farm as the "big brother." Realizing they are like finding hen's teeth, what do you folks thing about them? If one can't be found in a year or so, I might look toward an older Kubota tractor about the 40/50 HP range.

I can't speak much on the YM3810 except that I haven't seen one of those for sale around here, I don't know how common they are in Kentucky or elsewhere, but I do know that Hoye Tractor does have parts for them, and they are a larger tractor with more HP which is what you are looking for.

When you say mediocre condition, what do you mean specifically? Sometimes these older tractors may not look the best, but run exceptionally well.

Good luck and keep us posted on what you find.

Thanks for noting the difference. I will spend the next year or two looking for a YM3810D, a JD1070, or JD4600, but the preferred option is the YM3810D. Right now, the two Yanmars in the barn need to run......one's an easy fix, one not so much....

I wish you best. They are as scarce as hen's teeth...
I owned a 3110D for several years. Never any real issues. Great tractor

Head south to Fredricks and just pick one up. Totally restored to new condition via the UTDA requirements. The tractor is even dyno tested before being acceptable for the public to buy. 2 pages of machines right here ... All Inventory | Fredricks Outdoor

4GetGTO, I had nearly spent a day there. One would really appreciate their diligent hard work making each machine looking new. I've wrote about their process a few years back on this forum. It's remarkable how they just know each model inside and out.

It's not just Yanmars, They restore John Deere CUT tractors made by Yanmar too.

Should you ever visit their parts and service department, it's hopping with constant calls coming in and a full staff with encyclopedia thick books and computers. They guys have a good knack at finding things very fast and knowing what cross-references.

Because of the hills and the want of a loader, I am looking for the YM3810D.

Then look at my previous posts here and go get one right now.

They have the YM3810D as well. If you ever decided to swing down that way, they have HUNDREDS of restored YM-Series machines and a few dozen FX-Series machines too. Someday, maybe, we may see the AF-Series over here. ;)
