New Holland tc21d
I was blessed to marry the wonderful daughter of retired equipment operator and farmer. My father in law was one of the best people I ever got to hang around with. My father in law also LOVED stuff, especially farm and tractor stuff! Since his passing I've been doing my best to clean and organized the 69 acre homestead. Whenever I sink my little New Holland in the weeds I always find something cool.

Today was the sickle mower for the long since locked up cub.

Then there's this,,, uploadfromtaptalk1458340591695.jpguploadfromtaptalk1458340608267.jpg

I know he made a special trip to pick it up from a nephew over towards Appalachia VA. Any insight on it would be great.

I'll update this with more cool old stuff as I uncover it.

I know there's at least two old tractors buried on the edge of the woods line that I've not seen since before we married in 02.

Toothbar and a drag harrow is my guess.

Not seeing any 3 pt attachment on it, is it just a drag with a chain type?

Interesting!

I found an exact duplicate on the old family farm near
Burton, Texas.

I find my grandfather's old drag harrow in the woods every so often. I've got it stored there until someone needs it.

Sounds like a car someone might like to make into a low rider.

Flipped over the drag makes a wonderful stopper for people who can not read no trespassing signs. Costs a bunch of money to get towed out with two flat tires.

I would love to have one of those old section harrows to drag behind my disk. Those types with the adjustable teeth are really neat. Problem is most folks who have them think they are made from gold instead of old iron.
