starter wont do anything it.Dealer said i probaly need a new starter. However about the the third year when I tried it would not turn the the tech took it apart anand cleaned the bushings and shafts on the armature and lubed everything and it has been ok for several years.I dont want to replace it at $185.00 plus labor.I watched it being done and I take care of my equipment.I do remember it looked tricky getting the armature back in the brushes.I have done this on auto generators in the sixties.Anyone have any tips?I am going to give it a try.For the use it gets I dont think the starter should be bad.I can always pull start it but at 73 I like to push a button. Thanks to anyone who responds.
