YCM48 belt size?

Quick question, does anyone here know the belt size needed to run the outside blades on a YCM48 deck? Not the PTO belt, the other one. I'm not near my tractor right now and I'd like to pick up a belt on the way home.

90% sure the belt is half inch 82" long

I had to go buy one for my 146 in a rush a couple of week ago from my local auto parts store and the 82 inch worked......belt was 1/2 inch wide to make myself clear. So far it has worked fine. I just ordered another pto belt to have just in case it broke while mowing. Always good to have a back up.

Not sure if this is the spec for the original belt since the po had changed pulleys and everything. I had to find and replace all the pulleys to put it back to specs.

Okay, in case anyone searches for this in the future - I tried the 82" belt, it was too big. I put an 80" x 1/2" belt on and it is just what the Doctor ordered.

Mike I wonder why the difference between yours and mine??? May be the pulley sizes?? I am 100% sure I put a 82" belt on my deck. There is no way I could have put a 80" or even an 81" belt on my deck. It was so tight, I had to loosen up the tension pulley bolts so I could get the 82" belt over one of the outside pullies.

LOL, who knows changes have been made to our 25 year old decks over the years. Maybe there was a factory change in pulley size or location/style of tensioner, maybe one of our previous owners did a bit of hardware store scavenging to fix the deck, etc. At any rate, your recomendation of 82" got me in the ballpark and I appreciate it!

Would not be uncommon for the pulleys to be different sizes from what I've seen. The factory ones were made of fiber and broke if you were rough with them. Since they don't grow on trees and are/were expensive, another type may have been sourced at one time or another by a previous owner.
