We've been there many times over the years. I've also been to (spelling may be wrong) Fort Louisbourg, Cape Bretton Island, Digby, Halifax, Moncton, Richibucto Provincial Park and a 40 lobster feast with freinds from the US whose parents lived near there, Frederickton, St. John, The towering flowerpots at Hopewell Cape, Last but not least P.E.I. Don't get me worng. I love it up north. I just hate be treated like that when someone can speak english and won't. I can't speak french to save my arse.

The people up there in N.S. are freindly too. So you get some pretty big tides we you are located too. Ever run from the tides at Hopewell Cape?

JimR, I live about an hours drive from Digby, and also lived in Cape Breton for about three years. There are lots of beautiful places here in Nova Scotia.

Interesting, besides British Columbia, Nova Scotia is certainly on my list of must see places. The closes't I got was Acadia National Park.

Yep, it's the acid in the milk. (Also, it's the acid in the hops in REAL beer/ale ... not much hops in American factory beer) The heat in peppers is a base. Mexican restuarants that serve really hot stuff usually serve with lime or lemon wedges. Biting a lime wedge will turn an H-bomb into a fire cracker. Adding lemon juice or vinegar to chili that is way too hot will take most of the edge off so kids can eat it.

Ron, by any chance were you in the Marine Corps too?

One night, another Marine and I were in the Embassy in Yaounde when a very, very large rat comes walking down the hallway. We weren't very bright, but smart enough not to pull our pistols out. We pulled out our pepper spray!!

The rat was just a little smarter and ran right between us while we were spraying. As he went by, I sprayed my buddy as he sprayed me.

If it didn't hurt so bad, it would have been funny.

That is jsut about the funniest story I have heard in a long time. Gave me an outloud belly lauh. I could jsut visualize two young Corpsmen spraying each other. You contribute so much to this forum...
