It is a television program made by an ag business in the vicinity of SD, they are carryed on some stations in the mid west and RFD-TV on satellite. It is primarily on the use of fertilizers and pesticides, but has a farm basics segment. They have a new show every week.

I highly recomend RFDTV. We get the show free with the cheapest DISH satellite package. The ag and horse related shows are the ones we watch the most. They also have an interesting show that shows ranch/farm created inventions that people have put together.

I think many American companies in the midewest make similar units. It really depends on your soil type, as to what exactly you want to get done.
DMI is very popular around here, I think Sunflower makes some, as well as many others I can't think of of the top of my head. Many different options, from very low surface disturbance (which you would want for pasture) to tips that really shatter the whole soil profile.
What you are looking for has just become very 'in' now, they call it vertical tillage, and works in a no-till situation. You could search the web or real ag sites for 'ripper' or 'vertical tillage' and find several manufaturers. Or, ask on http://talk.newagtalk.com, the Successful Farmer web site, or others.
