Hey guys, first post here. I have been a frequent visitor to the sight to find answers and 99% I find what through older posts, however I am yet to find a definite answer about my crappy Dark Horse tiller. Like most everyone else, my tines have broke, several. I need to replace them and I have read where the KK tines will work...but I keep seeing a jab here and there that they are different. What is the final answer? I don't want to drop $280 on tines if they will not work. Thanks in advance.

I was told TSC stopped selling Dark Horse because parts were not interchangable with KK. They clearanced DH out cheaply.

Don't know as they are extinct, just that TSC won't carry them anymore. Did you try doing a Bing search for "Dark Horse Tiller"? Somebody has to have parts available somewhere.

Just as we aren't always 100% sure about things TSC re-brands as County Line, such as KK or Tarter Gate, so it might be with that DH tiller. It had to be a twin to something else out there. Surely it wasn't a snow flake, unique to the universe. What's that company from Huntington, IN that holds sales, from place to place, Homier-Farm Pro?,selling mostly China made implements? Could easily be a match to one of their re-branded products.
I don't know, but I did buy a DH RFM-60, virtually new. It is a dead on, part for part match exchange for KK RFM-60. One just never knows how this stuff works out.

Tried doing a search, not much is popping up other than threads regarding thier issues. Not sure I want factory parts for the tiller anyway. My buddy has never had a tine break on his KK. If the part are interchangable I would much rather buy KK tines to go on it!
My Dark Horse looks just like my buddies KK, except for color. I am going to try to get to taking one of my good tines off and checking it against his to see. HOPEFULLY that works!

Go to KK's web site and order 1 blade. If it fits, you're in biz; if not, you're out a few bucks and can weigh in next time someone asks the same question (taking one for the team).
