Yep - you really learn how much side swing you can get by steering right and left to work around those standing trees /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Actually, I only do it with relatively short logs when the route to where I plan to stack them is relatively clear of obstructions. I use the chain drag method, otherwise. Haven't quite convinced myself to buy tongs yet.
