Hey Folks,

Still workingon hooking up my new 758c.

Got a question for hydraulic experienced people. The instructions show unhooking the PB flexible hose (the one that comes down from tractor valve) from the hyd manifold and then hooking it to the BH long hose everytime I want to hook up the BH. Do you see a problem with putting a "T" on the manifold. One end of the "T" in the manifold, the middle of the "T" connected to a male QC (this would be for the long hose from the BH) and a permanent line on the other end of the T leading up to the tractor valve.

The reasons would be:
1: No chance of forgetting to rehook up the PB after disconnecting the BH. Therefore, no chance of deadheading the system.

2: Less worry to try and keep the unused QCs clean. Just one less QC to worry about.

3: Time saved hooking up BH from just plugging and unplugging the long hose from "TT"

I'm wondering if it would operate correctly by doing so.

Thanks
Mike

Not gonna work AT ALL. Oil will flow through the unused open center valve and back to tank. Zero pressure available to do work. Absolutely no 'T's in open center supply circuits.

Perhaps a diverter valve or the T and 2 valves?

Kind of thought there might be an issue. Thanks

Thanks DS but wouldnt be worth while to me. I already have a 1/2" "T".

I'll just do it as shown on schematic.

By the way DS what part of the country are you from?

Wow you sure are. Dry as a bone here. Good location. I miss buccaneer park.

I did some work at Buccaneer some years ago, and hated it.

Way too many Distractions for a young man or Old.
I liked there grills and my first wave pool as well. I wonder if they ever got it rebuilt.
Good fishing around there too.
