I got some use out of the hooks today. The attached photos show one of the main intended uses of the hooks: moving the walls that I use to turn my utility trailer into a makeshift livestock trailer for moving pigs to the processor.

I was easily able to pick up all the walls at the same time and drive them to their storage location.

Just a quick update: after leaving my bucket out in the rain for a while, I noticed rust dripping from under the plate. I decided the best thing to do was to go ahead and stitch weld around the whole thing. Even if it may not be needed for strength, it'll keep water out from under there. The only problem was that I couldn't get an electrode in near the front of the 2" receiver, but what can you do? If anybody else is doing this and plans to go with plate instead of angle iron, I'd suggest going ahead and doing a full seam weld instead of just "enough" beads to hold.
