Oh, let's see... My guess would be the Tatra T87, in production since 1936, although this particular example wasn't built for a couple of years until after ******'s demise. Was a favorite with **** German officers, although they had a propensity for killing themselves in them. Czechoslovakia's secret weapon against Germany!

Scotty,

Thanks for the pictures. It looks like a very interesting place to spend a day!!! I'm not really a big car guy, but I do enjoy creativity. And one thing those cars have is CREATIVITY!!!!! I just love how unique and odd some of them are.

One of my dream cars when I was a teenager was a Citroen SM.

My father was a Citroen SM dealer. At the time that was the only car they imported. Only '72 and '73 in the US. Hydraulic suspension, Maserati dual overhead cam V6, variable ratio steering(the faster you went the less you had to steer), incredibly smooth classic Citroen ride, yes you could change the tire without a jack, aerodynamically ahead of its time(I think about a .31 drag coefficient, by contrast a 928 Porsche had a brick like .45 dc), brake pedal was a round button on the floor. Overall, a very interesting, and unique car to drive.

Great stuff! Scotty, I'd bet your post will generate a few more visits to that museum. It's hard to realize how they can get along on such low admission fees. The front of the building looks very non-descript, almost like an old school building. There's nothing to catch your eye or draw you in. But... once inside, it's a car lover's dream. I'd love to lift the hood on everyone of those cars. What a hoot! Thanks for taking the time to post. I'm jealous.:)

That building was built in the early 50's as a bakery. One of its best features is the saw tooth sky lights in the roof. That, along with a band of windows high on two sides of the building give the displays wonderful natural lighting.

On the deux chevauxs, they have 15-20 of them and last year had a special display up. They are in the basement right now.

Another great thing about the museum is the collection rotates on a regular basis and while you will most likely recognize several of the cars, I have never been over there when there wasn't something new on display, and I go several times a year.
