The hydraulic cylinders on my loader need to be repacked. Both the lift and tilt cyl's are bypassing. Anyone know where to find reseal kits. Hoping they are standard. I think the loader is USA built.

You need to identify your loader manufacturer/model or cylinders. With that information you could likely google numerous possibilities. However, there are a lot of hydraulic repair shops around that might sell you the kits or put them in for you. Some of these cylinders can be difficult to get apart. There is a local Crown Products close to me that sell O-rings and also cylinder repair parts. Don't know if you might have a dealer similar to that in your area. Best of luck however you go at it.

Woops, just notice you identified your loader with your title. I don't get any google hits for kits on that model but no doubt there are seals out there that would fit it.

That is a US made loader, maybe try a local or nearby Yanmar dealer, maybe they could help you out. If not there is a Manual for that loader on Ebay, I don't know what is in that manual but maybe it will have the specs you need for the cylinders and or seals. Here is the eBay item number:372198337660
I would think if you call a Yanmar dealer they should be able to help point you in the right direction. YFL1575.jpg

Thanks Winston and Jullis13 for the reply. I'm not thinking straight. I have one of those manuals, I'll round it up today and check it out.

The YFL1575 was built by KMW (Kansas Machine Works) in Kansas. They sold out to ALO in Canada in the early 90s. ALO discontinued all the YFL loaders and no longer sell any parts for them.
If you are doing the repair yourself try Hercules Sealing Products in Clearwater FL. Phone: 800-777-5617

I have had good results with them.

Since it is an American loader I expect your local hydraulics shop will have everything you need. That worked for my early-80's aftermarket Great Bend (also Kansas) loader. I took in the first curl cylinder and they charged me $160 to rebuild it. Told me they had to straighten the shaft. A year later for the other side I paid under $10 for the o-rings and seals needed to restore proper function.

I have since bought several loader hoses, plus o-rings, seals, hoses for the backhoe, at very reasonable prices there. This isn't rocket surgery, just take it apart and replace all the soft parts. The only thing not obvious is: get a 36" pipe wrench to get the end cap off (assuming it is a screw-on cap). And leave the opposite end of the cylinder attached to the tractor while you unscrew the cap off the piston end, to resist twisting. It's really that simple.

American hydraulic cylinder soft parts are generic. Any hydraulic shop will simply match them by eye.

Thanks for all the good info and advice. I found the manual today. the curl cyl is 1 3/4 x 20 and the lift cyl is 2 1/4 x 24. Koyker loaders use the same size and the kit looks very similar to the yanmar kit. I'll check around locally for a hydraulic shop before I tear into it. I can still use it as is. It's worse when real cold and when it warms up it is not as bad.

You are welcome and let us know what your local hydraulic shops says about any of the repairs. Any info on this could help others on here with potential future issues of the same nature.
