Mowing YM-146 Mid mount mower install of YMM-45

My deck bit the dust so I got a new spindle and it was too short. So I was gonna make a weld on hub that was shorter but couldn't find a short hub. I was frustrated. Then an email came from a craigslist ad that I sent out over a month ago. I guy had a yanmar YMM-45 that had never been used just been sitting for 10 years and asked me to make an offer. I did and picked it up for $100. Brought it home and tried to figure out how to mount it. I used my hitch bracket off by agrifab spreader and my agrifab wheelbarrow to mount the front roller in place. And then attached the back of the mower to the welded on u bolts mows nice. Belt broke after an hour but it was the original so I bought a new 100" belt online for $6.10 from vbeltsforless.com. I will post pics on next post.

Lucky you! Never used mower with new belt for $106.10. What a deal. :thumbsup:

Did you get your YMM-45 spindle working? I got a bit of tips and tricks on that deck if you are still using it.
