YM-2000 Clutch

Hello

I've hears tales of an aftermart clutch/pressure plate fitting a YM-2000. Something out of a Mitsubishi or some such animal. Does anyone have any information on this or is it factory Yanmar for this one...

We found a toyota clutch that matched perfictly on one of our tractors (can't remember what model). Go to a local clutch shop (early in the morning when they are full of energy) and spend some time talking with the old guy that has worked there since the model A. With a little luck someone like that can usually go pull one off the shelf w/o looking anything up.

That is always the key no matter what you are looking for- you have to find someone that is willing to look for something that is not listed in the computer.

I have heard the same. The note I have in my file is that a YM1500 uses the same clutch as a "90 & 91 Mitsubishi Mirage ". I seem to recall that someone else mentioning that YM1500 - YM2000 use the same clutch and pressure plate. Not sure if any of this is correct, however, the pic on the advance auto website and the outside dimension of the YM2000 clutch disc look exactly the same.
