Hello everyone! I bought a YM 2000 today to go along with my YM 1610 to use for mowing. My main problem is the three point is stuck in the up position & I can't seem to get it to go down. The valve under the seat is open I believe but still no luck. I do know I need the handle & all the brackets that operate the three point because someone must have broke it some how & tried to weld it back together & now it is far from being right. If anyone would have any idea on what to look for or the handle & brackets , Please let me know. I also need the white engine side panels, mine did not come with any. Thanks!!:)

Hey Gary. I don't know if this is what you ment, but between your legs there should be a round Knob that if it is screwed in will lock the lift up or down. On the raise and lower lever the handle on the the right side pushes in the plunger on the valve under the seat. Push it in to raise or out to lower with the tractor running. I believe you will enjoy the new to you 2000 when you get it straightend out. I Know mine is better than my expectations when I first bought it. I use to live outside of Cinn.in the 70's and still have family in Dublin. Know it well. On the side cover seen one on C L. in GA. Atlanta Farm and Garden new for 20 something believe.
I do have a pic. of the plunger and the shut off/on knob is to the left under were the seat is.Went and checked for you on the side panel but somehow the pic. got changed. The add is under Alt. Farm and Garden,Side Panel in Braselton. But that is a mighty expensive Vin# sorry about that. But really the are new.

Thanks careyo63 for the fast reply. The knob under the seat is open. Still won't move. I think I will have to take the lever & rods off that move the plunger in on the valve. Somehow mine got broke where the bracket bolts to the top of the rear end & it was welded & not a very good job. Thanks for the picture, That is how mine is suppose to look. I'll try to get a picture of mine tomorrow. Thanks again!

Welcome and hello back at you! that ad with the side cover Carey told you about is from a Local man I deal with, Ron , he might have the Lift lever as well, if you look for his ads on the CL it will be from Braselton Ga, and I think he list his contact number in his ad, if not! let me know and I'll get you his number,.............
Is there an implement attached? sometimes it takes a little weight to lower the arms, But I'm sure you've most likely tried standing on them :D
have you a way to manually push in the plunger?

Wel I did get to work on the tractor today a little. The only way I could get the three point arms to go down was to take the four bolts loose & remove the valve. I took the valve apart & didn't see anything in it. Looks like the PO had it off before because there was not a gasket anyplace. just one O ring. I think I will have to get the new linkage parts & try that first. I looked on my 1610 & the plunger does not move very much, maybe it is not in the right position with everything bent up. Thanks for the help !!

You can see what all of the parts that are in it. Just go to Hoyetractor.com under Parts, YM2000 Chasis, 3point control. Click on the diagram # and it shows everything that is in Valve. Aaron and his Guys are as about as good as it gets when it comes to parts and Tech Support:D I should have mentioned to make sure there is Hyd. fluid in it and tha you may want to service it and clean the screen while your at it.

Gary, I believe those side panels are manufactured aftermarket and most dealers will have them. LMTC is located there in Ohio--you could give Wayne a call and see if he can get them for you.

The valve body is often only sealed with o-rings. You ought to get a parts manual too, so that you will know what is normal. My valve body is inside the trans and is bolted to the top cover with only 0-rings for seals--no gaskets.

I am not at all familiar with your tractor and cannot seem to figure out exactly how it is supposed to work. I will have to look at a parts breakdown to figure it out.
