- Yanmar 2210, and 2, 425 John deere lawn tractors
Hey yall, Just thought I would post 3 pics of my new modifications to my yanmar. I did the front counter weight this morning. It is a old Hammer point from a hydraulic hammer unit that fits on a track hoe, My company was throwing away. It is solid steel and is about 3 foot long and 4.5 inches in dia. I don't know how much it ways but I can only pick it up for a few seconds before I have to put it down. Its prolly 200 or more lbs. The other modification I did to the tractor was fill the tires with 20 gallons each rear tire of 0 degree windshield washing fluid. The third mod was to my 3pt. dirt scoop, I added a handle or lever to the trigger instead of the old rope. With the rope I had to come to a complete stop and pull the rope releasing the catch pin and then raise the hydraulic 3pt to dump it and then back in the same sequence to reset the bucket pan. Now with the New hand lever made from just some stuff I had laying around I can drive up to were I want to dump my load and never have to stop and take the time to do the rope thing I just pull the lever and it dumps automatically. After it dumps, still moving forward in the 3 + 3 gear I drop the hydr. 3pt reach back grab the lever and pull it towards me and then raise the 3pt and off for another load. It works great I moved 30 loads with it today in less than 2 hours. were the rope thing took me 30 loads in about 10 hrs. Wow That is amazing. hope yall like the pics.
