YM 2220D 4wd lever r/r advice - is that a pin, screw, or___?

Keep in mind, given my mechanic skill level, sometimes I need Captain Obvious to point things out. I'm replacing a [presumbly leakage culprit] o-ring at the 4wd shifter. The bolt came out and loosened the shaft, but I can't figure out what mechanism this is holding the shifter onto the shaft... pin, screw, other? I tried to clean it out (see extreme close up of shifter underside) and gently try mini screwdrivers, allen wrenches, etc. it looks like the mechanism or its housing is painted on to the case. for what it's worth.

Any broader advice about the transmission/hydraulic case leakage or this model in general is welcome.

I concur. For Captain Obvious's sake there's a good chance that the leaking trans/hydro fluid has loosened up any/all corrosion around the pin and shaft. But then again, there's a chance it didn't. Make sure your punch is properly sized to be just smaller than the size of the hole the pin goes into. To small a punch and you can mushroom/deform the pin...complicating matters. Once the pin is out hopefully the shaft will come off with little persuasion. If it doesn't use PB blaster (or similar) for a good soak.

i know i am late but i see a roll pin as well punch it out and see what you have then.
