I am embarrassed to admit that I have misplaced my owners manual, but I suspect that my hydraulic fluid level is low. The dipstick down by my feet near the gear shifter has 3 X's on the end. Is it safe to assume that full is at the top of the 3rd X?
I've a 2002d which is over at my daughters house right now so I can't look at the dip stick. My manual does not mention X's but says level should be at the top of the flat part or slightly below. Don't know whether yours has a flat part or not.
The three XXX's are the range considered safe for the Hydro oil As long as the dip stick is in that range you are good. When you take a measure just keep the dip stick level with the threads and do not screw in then read,
