Ym rear exhaust....

Sooo I just swaped my 2210 from vertical exhaust to front and the noise reduction is GLORIOUS but now I'm breathing it...

Anyone ever come off the front outlet and route down under to the rear?

Pics?

Any chance of a ready made pipe to do it?

Once you pipe back, you never go back. LOL

I've had old riding mowers with the exhaust turned forward and choked on gas engine fumes.

Your YM2210 is a shade smaller than a Ford 8N. Mine is a shade bigger. Knowing the 8N's have kits for rear exhaust, it might be something to look into.

Just be glad your model isn't the YM2200 with that rear suction pipe that could get in the way of a rear pipe exhaust.

Do note, the more bends and length will cause back pressure, unless you increase the pipe diameter to accommodate those losses.

The main trick isn't routing the pipe, it's where to hold with clamps that mount to the machine.

Well after thinking on it a while I think I have decided to simply put an elbow on it and direct it to the right and down.... got to thinking about hay ride passengers and then also myself hooking up 3 pt stuff

The YM240 had a low exhaust option that I always thought would be nice to have. I've never actually seen one in the real world though so probably a pretty rare option.

Nice. From where #2 mounts to the exhaust manifold the tip should discharge just before the rear wheel under the foot platform. It does have that Ford 8N look to the routing too.
