YM135 Bolt Thread Sizes, Better Assembly Images/Instructions

So I have a ym135 in my garage that I picked up. It's split with the back half assembled but the front half (bell-housing forward) is completely in pieces. From all of the manuals I've read and seen so far I can't find any good images or diagrams of the entire engine/rad/mounts/front end going back together - is there anything better?

Also it's missing a lot of fasteners. In the parts manual it lists bolts as "MX x X" or M8 x 12 for example, but that doesn't follow any bolt nomenclature I've seen before. Is that diameter x length? What about thread pitch?

Sending you a pm. Yes, M8 x 12 is bolt size by length. Most frame bolts will be the course thread for what that is worth.

I don't want to mess you up, you may need to procure a thread gauge. 1.25 is course, 1 is fine. I can't warranty either, sorry.

And there is even a M8 1.5 to make things even more confusing I dont know if Yanmar uses any of them but I noticed my tap set had a M8 1.5 tap.

I measured one of the transmission plate cover bolts earlier and it was 1.5

Sounds like you have it figured out but yes m8x12 is a bolt size. It's diameter and length

They'll be 1mm fine and 1.5 course. Toyota use 1.25 and I'm not aware of many others using it.
