YM1500 hydraulic fluid change question

Does the "fluid return bolt" (banjo bolt) on the hydraulic return line thread into the cover over the strainer, or into an internal pipe? The banjo bolt on my YM1500 is really tight. I don't want to use an impact wrench on it if it is removed with the cover.

I cannot tell from the parts manual or service manual I have where the bolt is threaded.

The suction line fitting threads into the cover plate. You can just unhook the rubber coupler in the line & leave it attached if you can't get it off.

I don't think that fitting has been taken loose since the factory installed it!
