YM1700 question

Does anyone out there know what other engines might bolt up to the bell housing on my Ym1700?

I'm pretty sure the engine from a YM2000 and a YM195/240 would bolt up but thats probably about it.

Your best bet, by far, is to rebuild that engine.

Norm, in another thread he noted the crankshaft is broken.

Codeman, has anyone located a crankshaft for you? I agree with Norm, rebuilding is preferable, if you can find the part.

Yep, and he wants $500 for the tractor. I would buy and rebuild them all day long at that price if it were in my area. ($500 for a crankshaft).
