I recently inherited a YM195D from my grandfather and I believe he did some modifications to the three point hitch control and I would like to return it to its original state. If my understanding is correct, when the control is moved to the up position it should rise until the position rod moves the control back to center. The way it is right now when you move the control lever it stays wherever it is put and if left in any one position too long it starts to make a "hissing" sound. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Everyone is pretty sure something was modified to add quick connects for the wood splitter, can anyone maybe provide me with a few photos of under the seat of a 195D?

YM240, should be the same thing. My loader is plumbed in series just ahead of the 3-point using the diverter block that is OEM on US Yanmars. Note you need to move some plugs around in the block to do this:
