good evening,
found a ym2000 today and bought it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif, here's the deal......
vietnam remanufactured( i know what most of you think about this process), however, we ran the 2000 for over 2 hours, all speeds, gears, with and without a 4' rotary cutter, no smoke, only on startups( about 15 times) decompression work fine, extra clean, all lights worked, including idiot lights, check all fluids myself, coolant was clean and clear, oil new, new filter, tranny fluids clear, new battery and cables, hoses, belts, air cleaner element, clean fuel bowl, new fuel lines, new seat and the tires were what i would call 80%+, extra aggresive Ag1's with very little wear, new paint.....
even got down and looked under the unit........no oil leaks any where, including pto shaft, and wheel seals, rotated tires for about 4" more width, and a pto clutch($75)
watched the mechanic service the cutter with 85w-150? gear oil, adjustments in top link, stabilizer bars, rear wheel height

Razor 4' mower (new)
Razor box blade (new)
800# boom pole(new)

Congratulations! Sounds like you checked it out well and your dealer is willing to stand behind the remanufacture...with a 6 month warranty! Hope it works out well for you. Show us some photos!

I also purchased what I believe to be a vietnamese reconditioned YM2000 earlier this year. I have thus far put about 60 hours on it, never had the first problem with it other than a minor diesel leak near the injector, which required tightening. I also bought mine from a reputable dealer who was willing to stand behind the product, in fact he uses recon'd YM's at his home and shop. IMHO, the tractor didn't sell itself,.... a dealer did. Choosing a dealer that stands behind what he sells makes all the difference. I ope you enjoy your YM2000 as much as I enjoy mine.

good evening,
OK guys, just finished 5 hours + bush hogging and cutting heavy grass with "alma rose" ( my mom almost made 91 yrs) and the little 2000 worked pretty **** well..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif, still gotta half tank of fuel /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif no problems at all, ran cool /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gifmade minor adjustment to stablizer bars, touched the tires twice, will continue to adjust them, they seem to run at a slight angle to the left, hydralics held the height very well (4") /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif leveled a bunch of fire ant hills /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif love the "granny gear" in the tall stuff (5' weeds and brush) just kept on "digging"....
posted on the photo tab under tractors-other equipment-yanmar......
will try to get foto's here soon.....
