Could someone please advise where the hydraulic drain plug and the screen are located on a ym2200?

It is not set up like the ym2000, of which I am more familiar.

Many thanks.

I always look around fthe transmission area for that typical plate held on with three bolts. On the 336, it is back by the PTO. It can also be on either side of the tranny.

On my 2310 it is a round cover plate held on by two bolts just in front of the rear axle left side.

There are 2 different systems used on YM2200.To tell which one you have, trace the suction line from pump.If it goes to fitting below pto shaft, then screen is in bottom of diff housing. The other type has the suction line coming from lift housing under seat as this housing is used as the resevoir and is seperated from trans, diff. This screen is located in housing under seat where suction line is attached.I have seen both types with no screen at all.If you find this to be the case on your tractor, you can install an in line spin on if you can't find an original. Some 2200 parts are getting harder to find.Good Luck, Tom

While on the subject, I have noticed some tractors have a sticker saying to use T500 fluid in the trans and others say to use T300. Can anyone tell us what the difference is in the two?
I was changing out the fluids in an FX175 and it uses T500 in the front diff. not 90wt.
