***UPDATE 11-22-2025 Saturday***
I borrowed my brother’s truck and went and picked up my tractor from Fredricks this past Monday morning, 11-17-2025, after driving up and staying at a hotel overnight Sunday night.
I’ve put 4 hours on it doing some bush hogging since I’ve gotten back home. The tractor is doing great! It has a few minor leaks but nothing that I can’t take care of myself. Fredricks is sending me everything I need, under warranty, that I requested for them to send. The parts are supposed to be here this coming Monday, 11-24-2025.
Once again, it was no problem at all getting them to send the parts. They have been great with that.
I purchased the tractor a year ago today, so the warranty on everything except the engine runs out today, 11-22-2025.
Then engine they installed in it is a Yanmar 3T80-J, which is out of a John Deere 850 tractor. Everything is new from the crankshaft up. It has no decompression lever. It has the high-torque John Deere starter (turns over much faster).
Stephen Fredricks (General Manager) gave me another year’s warranty on the engine. So, the last day of warranty on the engine is 11-17-2026, unless something catastrophic happens before then.
So far, I am satisfied and I do recommend buying a Yanmar Tractor and Yanmar Parts from Fredricks Equipment in Hartselle, Alabama.
I will keep updating if anything changes.
