ym2700??????????

good afternoon,
anyone know about this tractor? 32 hp, 2 cyl. 2wd. wide stance caught my eye.. looked at one this morning, fairly clean. the dealer provided me with his check list and it seems let he takes care of the little things(to long to list here) /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif........he does all the filters-screens, oil, hydro levels, fan, radiator, battery, new seat, clutch test(backs up the unit to a dirt loading dock and lets the tractor dig into the dirt) /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif, all tranny speeds, runs it for 30 or so min. and rechecks fluids and fuel, filters.....etc
Ym2700 (less than 900 hrs)
5' rotary mower.....new
5' box blade..........new
16 ft. trailer (no brakes)new
paint job
$6150 out the door

noticed leak around oil pan and oil plug, no tranny or hydro leaks i could see.....
exhuast manifold was broke and he had a new one in stock, new muffler

The 2700 is a mid 70's vintage. Some consider them an oddball or orphan because there are few of them imported.

If you buy it, I have several YM2700 parts tractors if you ever need them.

I think thats to much for that tractor. the YM2200 & Ym2700 are the 2 Yanmars that I would stay away from parts are hard to find... all that said I will tell you that I do own a Ym2200 and that I paid less then $3500 for the tractor with less then 350 hours New 4' rotary mower and new box blade. The only problem that I have had was it running hot "easy fix" and I have changed all the fluids my self..

I am looking for a head gasket for ym2700. I have found online but for $75+ and i just think thats expensive. Is that an accurate price?

I saw one for $69 but did not check out shipping. Your not likely to find one much cheaper.

Can you tell me what size the freeze plugs are for ym2700? The ones for the head is what im looking to get size of.
