And the guy even mentions to not use the "ask seller a question", but to send an email to him directly. An obvious clue that the scammer isn't the listed seller. The seller, with good feedback, has had his identity stolen, probably with one of those very real looking emails asking for account verification. Bummer.

I asked if I could drive over to see the tractor. (I emailed both the scammer and the real member). Hmmmm....think I'll get a response?
I can pay cash and have my own trailer so I can save the $6 shipping fee!!!
By the way, did you notice the tile roof and palm trees? Last time I drove through Bluffton, INDIANA, it didn't look quite that tropical.

Yeah, after sending the original seller a friendly e-mail warning them their account had been hijacked, I got a warning from eBay. They politely told me it is a violation to try to buy the item outside of eBay /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
