I had shingles as a kid, 7th grade I think. It was all over my right side and painful, but I do not recalling it that bad. I still went to school and played like all kids do. I recall playing a game of flag football at recess and getting on the skins side (shirts vs skins). As soon as I took my shirt off everyone freaked. I told everyone I had leprosy and I was a leper. I wiped my flags all over my side and ran for touchdown after touchdown that day. No one could (would?) catch me. :laughing:If you had chicken pocks as a kid you have the virus inside you that creates shingles. I致e never had shingles but, like someone said earlier, my FIL had it and said it was the worst thing he ever had to endure.
