Tractor
Massey Ferguson/kubota
Hi,
In Tunisia,we have the commun tractors range no more than 95 HP.As a farmer I have a small kubota tractor (L4740-49HP) wich is used for light jobs...
By facing the net, I'm very pleased and attractived by the Massey Ferguson tractors (as I owned an MF275 before) like the MF 5600 and MF 6600.
I have a big Farm (50 hectars) and my land is composed by shale ,which is hard to plow,so my FRIENDS please I need you advice .( my favourite tractor is the MF5612) please your advise will be in concederation becuase I have no idea about this tractor generation.Thank you for every body

The 6600 series is heavier and available with CVT if you can swing it. Probably better for field work if your doing a lot of it. I don't think you can go wrong with either. The 5600 will have the edge in maneuverability, but the 6600 is short wheelbase as well. Still has a 4 cyl. Both should be fuel misers. I think the CVT will pay for itself in fuel savings over time. You can run a lower RPM when power not needed and still change speeds as needed.

I have 4600, wanted a simple transmission and at time didn't want to pay for 5600 upgrade. (5612 would be nice) But I think my 4610 will do all I need until I grow(my land) and can use a 6600 series to its fullest.
