Here's how to find your own like I've been posting in the West coast smoke thread.
Go here
National Weather Service
and click on your location on the map.
The new screen will have another map with Click a location below for detailed forecast.
Click on your location.
You should then have a page with a row of 12 hour forecast icons. About halfway down the right side, below the map, you will find a small satellite photo.
Click on that photo.
Under GeoColor at the top left, click on 2400 x 2400 for the size photos I've been posting.
There will pop up an automatically zooming large photo.
Click on Download image at the bottom of the photo to get the whole image on screen as a jpg image, ready to download or examine.
These photos are updated about every 5 minutes, but seem to be about 10 minutes behind actual time.
--------------
Some regions offer a Satellite choice after the second map, some only after the third screen.
You can bookmark various steps to skip going through the whole set of pages each time.
