Your typical Diesel Rotary Screw runs 185 CFMs. 20 seems a bit on the mild side. lol I use a water blasting thing on a commercial electric pressure washer. Works, uses a pile of sand, makes a terrible mess, but no dust or silicosis.
185 cfm is a commercial size unit.
With the small nozzle, mine is slow, but it does the small jobs I need it for.
I usually use "Black Beauty" rather than sand, so no dust, and no silicosis.
"Black Beauty" works absolutely great, but is $10 for each 50lb. bag at TSC.
I can get local sand for free but I must sieve it, and it is not as sharp.
